O R D E R

The present are a batch of writ petitions under Article 226 of the Constitution of India which have been filed on behalf of the petitioners seeking quashing and setting aside of their respective impugned Refusal Orders passed by the concerned Regional Committee and for directions to the respondents to conduct inspection of the petitioners' institutes and decide their applications for recognition for conversion/transition of the B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. courses to the Integrated Teacher Education Programme ("ITEP") course from the present Academic Session 2026-27. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondents' objects to the reliefs sought in the present petitions. However, on a query put forth by this Court, he submits that the objections raised by him were considered in W.P. (C) 4860/2026 and other connected matters, and vide common judgement dated 29th May, 2026, the petitions were allowed.

This Court notes that in another similar batch of writ petitions, i.e., W.P. (C) 8193/2026 and other connected matters, this Court vide order dated 17th June, 2026, allowed the said petitions on the basis of the findings in the judgement dated 29th May, 2026.

Thus, there is no impediment in allowing the present petitions as well. 5.

Accordingly, the present petitions are allowed and the impugned Refusal Orders issued by the concerned Regional Committee on diverse dates, are set aside.

The respondents shall conduct inspection of the petitioners' institutes within a period of three weeks from today and shall thereafter take all appropriate and necessary steps to ensure that the guidelines laid down by the Supreme Court in the case of Maa Vaishno Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya Versus State of Uttar Pradesh and Others, (2013) 2 SCC 617, are scrupulously complied with.

The entire exercise, including the issuance of Show Cause Notices pointing out the deficiencies, furnishing of replies thereto, adjudication of such Show Cause Notices, and all ancillary activities connected therewith or flowing therefrom, shall be completed on or before 31st July, 2026 for the forthcoming Academic Session 2026-2027.

Let a copy of the inspection report be also supplied to the petitioners. 9.

In view of the aforesaid, the present petitions, along with the pending applications, stand disposed of.
