A batch of Civil Writ Petitions under Articles 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed on behalf of the petitioners seeking quashing and setting aside of their respective impugned Refusal Orders passed by the concerned Regional Committee and for directions to the respondents to conduct inspection of the petitioners' institutes and decide their applications for recognition for conversion/transition of the existing four-year integrated The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. courses to the ITEP course from the present academic session 2026-27.

Learned counsel for the respondents objects to the reliefs sought in the present petition. However, on a query being posed, he fairly submits that the objections raised by him were considered in W.P. (C) 4860/2026 and connected matters, and vide common order dated 29.05.2026, the petitions were allowed.

Accordingly, the present petition is allowed and the impugned Refusal Orders issued by the concerned Regional Committee on diverse dates are set aside. The respondents shall conduct inspection of the petitioners' institutes within a period of three weeks from today and shall thereafter take all appropriate and necessary steps to ensure that the guidelines laid down by the Supreme Court in Maa Vaishno Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya v. State of U.P., (2013) 2 SCC 617, are scrupulously complied with. 4.
The entire exercise, including the issuance of show cause notices pointing out the deficiencies, furnishing of replies thereto, adjudication of such show cause notices, and all ancillary activities connected therewith or flowing therefrom, shall be completed on or before 31.07.2026 for the forthcoming Academic Session 2026-2027.

Let a copy of the inspection report be also supplied to the petitioners. 6.
