During the course of hearing, counsel for the parties, on instructions, submit that the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement. In terms thereof, the Respondent School shall pay a total sum of ₹6,25,000/- to the Petitioner within a period of three months from today, in three instalments. The first instalment shall be paid by second week of May, 2026; the second instalment shall be paid by second week of July, 2026; and the third instalment shall be paid by second week of August, 2026. In the event of default in payment of any instalment, the Respondent shall be liable to pay interest at the rate of 12% per annum on the defaulted amount. eventuality, the Petitioner shall be entitled to enforce the present order by way of execution proceedings/instituting non-compliance remedies available in law.

It is further agreed between the parties that they shall take appropriate steps to withdraw Suit No. CS SCJ 1604/2023. Counsel for the parties further undertake that, upon receipt of the settled amount in terms of the above, no further claims shall survive between the parties, and they shall not initiate any further litigation against each other in respect of the subject matter of the present proceedings.

The statements made by counsel for the parties are taken on record, and the parties shall remain bound by the same as well as by the terms of the settlement.
