The present petitions have been filed under Sections 10 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 read with Article 215 of the Constitution of India seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for alleged wilful disobedience and non-compliance of the orders dated The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. 17.06.2026 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No. 8241/2025 and W.P.(C) No. 8242/2025.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents, on advance notice, submits that a restoration order has already been passed. 3.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that though the restoration order has been passed, the same pertains to the Academic Session 2025-26 and not to the Academic Session 2026-27.

The learned counsel for respondent submits that the matter was placed before SRC today and necessary corrections have already been made and steps have been taken.

In view of the above, the statement of respondent is taken on record. As such, restoration order in respect of the Petitioner, specifically permitting it to participate in the counselling process from the Academic Session 202627 instead of 2025-26 be issued. The said order shall also be communicated to the concerned University and be uploaded on the respondent's website. 6.

Let the needful be done at the earliest.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms with liberty to the Petitioners to seek revival of the present petition in case the aforesaid directions are not complied with.

Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. 9.
