% 15.07.2019 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:
"
1. Impose the penalty amount on concerned Central Information Officer under the provision of Section 20 (1).
2. Compensate a sum of Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) to the complainant under the provisions of Section 19 (8) (B) of Act.
A. Pass any other / further order (s) as May deem fit by this Hon‟ble Court."
In effect, it is the submission of the petitioner in person that CIC has not considered his prayer for imposing penalty under the provisions of Section 20 of the Right to Information Act, 2005.
On a specific query to the petitioner whether the information has since been supplied to him, the answer is in the affirmative. If that be so, I do not see any reason to entertain the present petition and treat the same as closed. V. KAMESWAR RAO, J JULY 15, 2019/jg
