This application is, accordingly, disposed of. W.P.(C) 6654/2019 Vide the present petition, the petitioner seeks direction thereby directing the respondents to give clarification as to why the list of 1286 candidates have been selected instead of 1610, and add the name of the petitioner in the name of selected candidates for the post of Teachers (Primary), being a suitable and qualifying candidate. The present petition was filed when the petitioner did not have the marks secured in the selection process and today, learned counsel who has

appeared on behalf of the respondents on advance notice on instructions stated at bar that the last selected candidate in the unreserved candidates category secured 126.05 marks whereas the petitioner secured 124.19 marks, therefore, he has not qualified the test and is not suitable for the post in question.

At this stage, counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition.

Permission is granted.
