The writ petition has been allowed and the LoC issued against the Petitioner, at the request of Respondent no.2 (Indian Bank), has been quashed vide order dated 31st July, 2024.

Through this application, the Petitioner seeks a direction for release of the personal surety and fixed deposit receipt of Rs.5,00,000/- deposited in compliance of order dated 18.03.2024 and the subsequent orders. 3.
Having regard to the aforenoted facts, since the writ petition has been quashed, the relief sought in the present application deserves to be allowed. 4.
In view of the above, the following directions are issued: (i) The personal surety bond furnished by the Petitioner in terms of the order dated 18th March, 2024 and subsequent orders is hereby released.
(ii) The Registry is directed to release FDR (Term Deposit Advice) The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 01/10/2024 at 12:05:51
A/c No 42805572960 dated 18th March, 2024 for a sum of Rs 5,00,000/- issued by State Bank of India, Zamrudpur, Greater Kailash-I, in the name of Anil Kumar Monga (the Petitioner herein).
(iii) Counsel for the Petitioner on record is permitted to accept the FDR on behalf of his client subject to the Petitioner filing an affidavit confirming that the counsel is authorized to receive the said FDR on his behalf.
