% 09.05.2026 Appellant Insurance Company has filed an appeal for reduction of the Award dated 15.03.2019 passed by the Learned MACT, Awarding a compensation of Rs. 6,02,000/- along with interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of filing of claim petition. On appeal, the insurance company was directed to deposit entire Awarded amount with up to date interest before the concerned Tribunal in terms of the order dated 04.07.2019 passed by this Hon'ble Court.

Learned Counsel for the appellant on instructions has agreed to withdraw the appeal. It is made clear that the rights of the parties stands protected.

Learned Counsel for the Insurance Company also submits that The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 16/05/2026 at 12:13:35

the statutory amount with interest, if any, may be refunded to the Insurance Company.

In view of the submission of the Appellant, it is directed that the Awarded amount with interest if not released be released to the Respondents claimant in terms of the Award of the Tribunal. Statutory amount with interest if any, be refunded to the Insurance Company.

In terms of the aforesaid, the present appeal along with pending application (s) stand disposed of.

A copy of this order be sent to the concerned learned Tribunal with LCR, if already received.

A copy of this order be also sent to Respondent Claimant, for information.
