The petitioner, who is the complainant in E-FIR No.

80145281/2024 dated 26.12.2024, registered at Police Station KishanGarh/e-Police Station, under Sections 380 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, has filed this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, seeking the following relief:

"(a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ to direct the state / respondent no. l to provide protection and security to the petitioner in the interest of justice;

(b) Direct the respondent no. I to investigate the matter in E-FIR No. 80145281/2024 dated 26.12.2024 within in time bound and fair manner for ends of justice;

(C.) Pass any such further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem just and proper in light of the facts and circumstances of the case." 2.

in the said FIR have been arrayed as respondent Nos. 2 and 3 in the present petition, but in view of the submissions recorded herein below, it is not necessary to issue notice to them in this petition. 3.

Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 were granted anticipatory bail by order of the Sessions Court dated 27.09.2025. Mr. R.S. Rathi, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the accused have thereafter subjected him to threats and intimidation, in respect of which he seeks protection and security. He also submits that the petitioner has filed a separate petition [Diary No. 253308/2026] in this Court, for cancellation of bail granted to respondent Nos. 2 and 3. That is not before this Court at present. 4.

As far as the petitioner's prayer for protection and security are concerned [prayer (a) of this petition], Mr. Chauhan states that the telephone numbers of the SHO having jurisdiction over the petitioner's residence and the Investigating Officer ["IO"] in the aforesaid FIR will be provided to the petitioner, so that they can be contacted in the event of any exigency.

As far as prayer (b) is concerned, the petitioner has placed on record an order of the Magistrate's Court dated 24.02.2026, directing the IO to conclude the investigation in an expeditious manner. Mr. Chauhan submits that the investigation has been concluded and the final report is at the stage of scrutiny. He further sates, upon instructions from the IO, that the final report will be filed before the concerned Court within a period of one week from today.

As no further orders are sought in this petition, the petition stands disposed of, in terms of the these submissions. 7.
