After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition, with the liberty that a direction may be given to the DGP(Prisons) to decide the furlough application of the petitioner within four days.

Learned APP submitted that the concerned authority shall decide the furlough application of the petitioner within four days.

Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed. The respondent shall remain bound by the statement of the learned APP and decide the furlough application of the petitioner within four days. 5.
