These writ petitions have been filed raising a grievance for nonrelease of salary, reimbursement of medical bills and other emoluments. 2.
Learned counsel for the parties are at ad idem that during the pendency of the petitions, the salaries are now being paid regularly. On the last date, the counsel for respondent no. 1 stated that the matter regarding clearing the arrears and dues of other emoluments was under active consideration and sought time to have instructions. 3.
Today Sh. Pandurang K. Pole, Secretary, Higher Education has joined through video conferencing and stated that the medical reimbursements, LTC, Children Education Allowances, dues after implementation of seventh Pay Commission and retiral benefits shall be released to the colleges on or before 15th March, 2026. It is further stated that the arrears of salary, promotional benefits and the amount dues under the other heads shall be released to the colleges on or before 15th April, 2026. 4.
Learned counsel for the colleges submits that within fifteen days of the receipt of the amount, colleges shall credit the amount due in bank account of the employees.
