This petition is preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal to pronounce and publish the Award.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that after the learned Arbitrator was appointed, mandate of the Arbitrator was extended from time to time by this Court and lastly, by order dated 25.03.2025 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 266/2025 by a period of one month as the O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 364/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. mandate was to expire on 29.03.2025, however, an e-mail was received on 24.04.2025 from the learned Arbitrator that a further period of one month will be required for pronouncement of the Award. 5.

Issue notice.

Mr. Ripudaman Bhardwaj, learned counsel enters appearance and accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent.

Considering that only the Award has to be pronounced, mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended by upto 31.05.2025 and period from 30.04.2025 to 04.05.2025 is regularised.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
