This petition is preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal. 2.

Disputes having arisen between the parties, this Court in O.M.P. (I)(COMM.) 27/2021, with the consent of the parties, appointed a Sole Arbitrator vide order dated 25.03.2021. Petitioner filed O.M.P. (MISC.) (COMM.) 502/2024 for extension of the mandate as the proceedings were at the stage of final hearing and Forensic Auditor had been appointed. By order dated 07.08.2024, mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was extended by six months from 07.08.2024 and period from 28.06.2024 was regularised. 3.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that recording of evidence is over and forensic audit is ongoing and in this light, seeks extension of the O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 366/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by nine months from today. 4.

Issue notice.

Mr. Sankalp Goswami, learned counsel for the Respondent accepts notice and on instructions, submits that the Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the learned Arbitrator. 6.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of nine months from 05.05.2025 and period between 09.02.2025 to 04.05.2025 is regularized. 7.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
