The petitioner in the instant petition prays for the following reliefs:- "I. Issue a Writ of Mandamus, and/or any other appropriate Writ/Order or directions restraining the Respondent No. 1 from installing the meter of Property No. 1900, Main Road, Chandni Chowk, bearing and C.A. No. 100217044 and old Meter No. BY70122210 in the middle of the staircase of Petitioner's property bearing Property No. 1899, Main Road, Chandni Chowk, Delhi-110006.

II . In the event of meter being installed before the listing of the Petition, issue a Writ of Mandamus and/or any other appropriate writ/order or directions directing the removal of the above-mentioned meter from the middle of staircase of Property No. 1899, Main Road, Chandni Chowk, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. In view of the provision under Section 42(5) of the Electricity Act, 2003, there appears to be Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF) under the Electricity Act, 2003. The appeal against the order of CGRF lies before the Ombudsman under Section 42(6) of the Electricity Act, 2003. 3.

Looking at the grievance raised in the instant writ petition and competing claims of the petitioner and respondent No.3, the Court is not inclined to entertain the instant petition. However, the Court leaves it open to the petitioner to take appropriate legal remedy, as available in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of. All rights and contentions are left open.

The petitioner shall also be entitled to file appropriate application seeking any interim protection, if he so desire.
