This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.

The present petition has been filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India seeking to direct the Respondent No.1 to convene the Rule 90 Committee meeting and process the Petitioner's application for allotment of Flats at Respondent No.2- Sudershan Co-operative Group Housing Society Ltd (hereinafter 'Society').

The Petitioner is the younger brother of Mr. Subhash Chand who was earlier the member of the Respondent No.2-Society. According to the Petitioner, the formalities for deposit of the dues of the Society and for transfer of membership have all been completed by the Petitioner. In fact, the Petitioner's membership has been approved by the Registrar of Cooperative Societies on 12th September, 2022 and the matter was to be placed before the Rule 90 Committee for final approval. been done. Hence this writ petition.

Mr. Sameer Vashisht, ld. Standing Counsel (Civil) submits that he is not aware if the Rule 90 Committee had met and considered the matter. 5.

Clearly, there cannot be such long delay in approval of membership by the Rule 90 Committee. Accordingly, let the Petitioner's membership application be considered by Rule 90 Committee which shall take a decision expeditiously and in any case within two months. The decision shall be be communicated by 15th July 2025.

Petition is disposed of in these terms. All pending applications, if any, are also disposed of. All rights and remedies are left open. 7.

If the Rule 90 Committee does not comply with this order, Petitioner is at liberty to seek revival of this Petition.
