The present petition has been filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking appropriate directions to the Respondent No. 1 - Registrar of Co-operative Societies (hereinafter "the RCS") to decide the execution petitions pending before it expeditiously. 4.

The Petitioner Society - Talagang Cooperative Group Housing Society Limited has approached the Court seeking action to be taken against the defaulter members. The Petitioner Society had invoked arbitration against the said members and in the arbitration, various orders have been passed directing payment of the membership fee along with interest. The grievance of the Petitioner is that the RCS is not taking any action to execute the said awards, though the execution petitions have been filed by the Petitioner.

The notices to the defaulters have been issued by the RCS on 14th May, 2025. It is clearly a belated action by the RCS. 7.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the RCS take action in accordance with law and dispose of the execution petitions of the Petitioner within a period of four months.

The petition, along with all pending applications, is disposed of in above terms.
