The instant application is for the following reliefs:- "to release the Applicant/Accused on interim bail in FIR No. 641/2022, PS Palam Village, u/s 302/323 IPC in the present circumstances of the present case to appear for the mock tests and the UPSC exam scheduled for 19.07.2026, in the interest of Justice on such terms and conditions as it deems fit & proper in the circumstances of the present case." 2.

appear in the UPSC Preliminary Examination, which is scheduled to be held on 19.07.2026. It is further submitted that the applicant had previously been granted similar relief by this Court, and he duly complied with the conditions imposed and did not misuse the liberty so granted. 3.
The Court has considered the allegations levelled against the petitioner, which, at this stage, appear to be prima facie serious in nature. Charges have been framed against the petitioner for offences punishable under Sections 302 and 323 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. The case pertains to the death of a 24-year-old woman. It is alleged that the petitioner subjected the deceased to a brutal assault, as a result of which she sustained grievous injuries. The deceased remained in a coma for nearly 13 months before ultimately succumbing to her injuries. 4.
Having considered the seriousness of the allegations, the Court is not inclined to allow the instant application or to enlarge the applicant on interim bail. Accordingly, the application stands rejected.
