The petitioner, who is the complainant in the FIR, has approached this Court seeking quashing of FIR No.396/2020 registered under Section 406 IPC at P.S. Lajpat Nagar, Delhi on the ground that she has now settled in abroad and there is no chance of her coming back to India. The FIR is against one Dharmender Rathi.

Learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that a cancellation report is being prepared and is likely to be filed within 2 weeks from today. 3.

Considering that the cancellation report is being filed, the present petition is disposed of.
