The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent-MCD to de-seal the premises of the petitioner being Ground Floor of the plot no. B-261, Arjun Nagar, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi - 110029 ('subject premises').

The premises were sealed vide sealing order dated 16th January, 2026, as the petitioner was using gas welding machine without permission/license from the MCD, which is against the provisions of the MPD 2021. 3.
Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner who is present in Court, undertakes that the petitioner will not use the gas cylinder at the subject premises without the requisite license from MCD.

He further submits that the petitioner will make a representation to the W.P.(C) 8564/2026 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 04/07/2026 at 11:08:41
MCD for de-sealing and undertakes to pay the compounding/ misuse charges.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-MCD, on advance notice, submits that the subject premises can be de-sealed subject to the petitioner paying the requisite misuse charges. 6.
Taking the aforesaid statement by the counsel for respondent-MCD on record, the present writ petition stands disposed of while directing respondent-MCD to communicate the misuse charges to the petitioner within one (1) week from the date the petitioner makes the representation. Upon payment of the same, respondent-MCD shall forthwith de-seal the subject property.

The pending application stands disposed of.
