The Petitioner's grievance urged in the present petition concerns the non-implementation of the transfer order dated 22nd January, 2025 issued by the Headquarters of the Food Corporation of India, in furtherance of the inter-zonal transfer order dated 6th May, 2024, whereby the Petitioner has not been relieved to join the North Zone.

It is noted that the Petitioner, in the meantime, has received a communication dated 27th April, 2026 in response to his grievance raised on the Public Grievance Portal, stating that, in view of the pendency of the disciplinary proceedings, the request for implementation of the transfer to the North Zone cannot be considered at this stage and that the issue of relieving shall be examined only after the conclusion of the disciplinary proceedings.
