O R D E R

% 08.02.2018 Ms. Preeti, wife of the petitioner has been produced in the Court. She is present with her father - Mr. Dharamveer Singh. Preeti states that she would like to join the company of the petitioner. Respondent No. 2 states that he is willing to let Preeti accompany the petitioner from the Court itself. He states that he shall deliver all the belongings and documents of Preeti to the Additional SHO, PS - Ranjeet Nagar, who may deliver the same to Preeti at her matrimonial home.

The petitioner has given an assurance that Preeti shall be looked after well and taken care of, particularly, considering the fact that her parents are not happy with this matrimonial alliance. The petitioner shall remain bound

by his assurance.

Accordingly, we direct the Additional SHO, PS - Ranjeet Nagar to ensure safe passage to the petitioner and Preeti to their residential premises from the Court itself. He shall also get the belongings and documents of Preeti collected from respondent No. 2 and deliver to Preeti at her matrimonial home. We have counselled and cautioned respondent No. 2 not to take law and order in his hands and not to issue any threat to, either to petitioner or Preeti. The SHO, PS- Ranjeet Nagar to ensure protection to the petitioner and Preeti from any threats or coercion that they may receive from respondent 2 or his family members. The mobile phone number of the beat constable of the area shall be provided to petitioner and Preeti and their calls, if any, shall be attended to seriously.
