% 21.03.2017 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 08th August, 2016 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.(C) No.6919/2016, whereby the petition preferred by the petitioner was disposed of in view of the statement made by the counsel for the respondent-Air India Ltd. that the Board of Directors of Air India shall take a view in the petitioner's appeal against the order of dismissal within a period of three weeks.

The respondents have now filed an affidavit dated 15th March, 2017 enclosing extract of the 77th Board Meeting of Air India Limited held on 8th February, 2017, whereby the petitioner's appeal has been rejected.

In view thereof, present contempt petition is disposed of with

liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said order in accordance with law. The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open. MANMOHAN, J MARCH 21, 2017 KA
