The present petition under Section 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, seeks the following prayers: - "a) Allow the present petition and initiate contempt proceedings against Respondent no.1 to 5 herein for wilful and deliberate disobedience of this Hon'ble Court's solemn judgement and order dated 24.03.2015 passed in W.P.(C) No. 1292/2002; b) Direct the Respondent no. 1 to 5 herein to immediately pay the Petitioner herein their back wages, retiral benefits and all consequential benefits payable to the petitioner in accordance of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
the order dated 24.03.2015 passed in W.P.C no. 1292/2002 [ Roopa Sharma vs The Director, DOE];
c) Direct Respondent no. 6 and 7 herein to ensure that order dated 24.03.2015 passed in W.P.C no. 1292/2002 [ Roopa Sharma & ors vs The Director, DOE] is implemented in letter and spirit; And d) Pass any other or further order/s as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice."

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the matter has since been settled with the School Management, vide an agreement dated 03.10.2025. Payment has been made to the petitioners in by way of following cheques: - (i) Cheque no. 981777, dated 03.10.2025 in favour of Mr. Ramesh Kumar for an amount of Rs. 57,40,722/- drawn on Punjab National Bank.
(ii) Cheque no. 981778, dated 03.10.2025 in favour of Mrs. Sushma Dua for an amount of Rs. 57,40,722/- drawn on Punjab National Bank. (iii) Cheque no. 981779, dated 03.10.2025 in favour of Mr. Sarita Saxena for an amount of Rs. 50,51,451/- drawn on Punjab National Bank.
(iv) Cheque no. 981780, dated 03.10.2025 in favour of Mrs. Parvinder for an amount of Rs. 56,08,389/- drawn on Punjab National Bank. (v) Cheque no. 981781, dated 03.10.2025 in favour of Mrs. Puneet Kumari for an amount of Rs. 57,26,461/- drawn on Punjab National Bank.
(vi) Cheque no. 981782, dated 03.10.2025 in favour of Mrs. Rupa Sharma for an amount of Rs. 41,52,974/- drawn on Punjab National Bank.

(vii) Cheque no. 981783, dated 03.10.2025 in favour of Mr. Som Dutt for an amount of Rs. 46,85,238/- drawn on Punjab National Bank. (viii) Cheque no. 981785, dated 03.10.2025 in favour of Mrs. Dhanawati for an amount of Rs. 32,12,332/- drawn on Punjab National Bank.

The aforesaid cheques have been handed over in the Court today to the petitioners and copies of the same are taken on record. 5.
In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner, subject to realisation of the aforesaid cheques and compliances of other conditions of the settlement as mentioned in the agreement, seeks leave to withdraw the present petition.

Leave and liberty granted.

In case, the aforesaid cheques are not realised or other conditions of the settlement are not complied, the petitioner will be at liberty to revive the present petition. The relevant settlement agreement along with the affidavits shall be e-filed.

The present petition is dismissed as withdrawn and disposed of. 9.
