O R D E R

% 06.04.2016 This petition has been filed under Section 14 read with Section 15 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act for appointment of a substitute Arbitrator. It is noted, Hon'ble Mr.Justice C.L.Chaudhary (retired) was appointed an Arbitrator by this Court vide its order dated September 5, 2003.

Hon'ble Mr.Justice C.L.Chaudhary (retired) through its communication dated October 28, 2015 has stated that because of his health problems, he is unable to continue with the arbitration proceedings. Learned counsel for the parties state that the arbitration proceedings are at the arguments stage. They agree that the remaining proceedings be held under the aegis of the Delhi Arbitration Centre.

In view of the statement made, I appoint Hon'ble Mr.Justice J.P.Singh, a retired Judge of this Court, who is on DAC panel, as the learned Arbitrator to proceed with the arbitration proceedings from the stage Hon'ble Mr.Justice C.L.Chaudhary (retired) has recused himself. It goes without saying that the fee of the learned Arbitrator shall be regulated by the rules of the DAC.

The petition is disposed of.

Copy of this order be sent to the co-ordinator, Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DAC).
