This Court notes that a Status Report dated 18 August, 2025, has been filed on behalf of the respondent nos. 1 and 2-Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD"), wherein, it is stated as follows: "xxx xxx xxx 3.
That it is submitted that the property No. 704, Katra Hardayal, Nai Sarak, Chandni Chowk, Delhi was again inspected by the officials of the Building department CSPZ on 14.08.2025. During the inspection it is found that the subject property comprises of ground floor to third floor, neither any building construction activity was found in progress nor any construction material was found stacked at site.

It is further submitted that the construction in the premises in question is an old construction and only permissible repair works in terms of clause 2.0.1 ( d) of the 'Unified Building Bye Laws 2016, has been carried out by the owner/builder at the said property in recent past. Photograph showing the present status of the property is annexed herewith as Annexure-A.
