Rule was issued in this petition on 19th January, 2005 and the matter has been adjourned number of times, thereafter. The matter was listed for hearing on 18.08.2008 and was adjourned at the request of the petitioner. The petition was put up for hearing on 08.07.2015 and on that too there was no appearance on behalf of the parties. Thereafter, the matter was taken up again on 30.07.2015 and the situation remained the same - there was no appearance on behalf of the parties. On 01.10.2015, once again there was no appearance on either side. On that date, this Court had made it clear that in case of default on the date the matter is taken up next, all legal consequences would follow including dismissal in default or exparte hearing. The matter
was taken up once again on 09.12.2015. On this occasion also, none was present on behalf of the parties. None is present on behalf of the petitioner today also.
In the circumstances, the writ petition as well as all the applications are dismissed in default.
