The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers: "a) issue a writ/ direction in the nature of certiorari seeking quashing/ setting aside of the impugned order dated 02.03.2024 issued by the respondents whereby the petitioner has been transferred from Group Centre-2, Ajmer, to Group Centre, Bhubaneswar; and/or b) a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to continue in his present unit GC, CRPF, Ajmer till disposal of the present petition; and in the alternative direct the respondents to transfer the petitioner to GC, Kathgodam/ GC, Lucknow/ GC Prayagraj/ any office in NCR/ Central Sector Lucknow/ GC Amethi/ GC Gurugram; and/or The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. c) pass any such other and further relief(s) as is deemed fit, may also be awarded to the Petitioner."

On the last of hearing, learned counsel for the respondents sought time to take instructions. Today, she submits that the respondents have decided to defer the transfer of the petitioner from GC - 2 Ajmer to GC Bhubaneswar till 31st July 2024. In other words, she submits that the petitioner shall report to GC Bhubaneswar on 01.08.2024. 3.

The aforesaid submissions of the learned counsel for the respondents is agreeable to the learned counsel for the petitioner. He submits that the petitioner be disposed of by taking the submission on record. 4.

Taking the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties on record, the petition is disposed of alongwith pending application. V.
