O R D E R

% 02.07.2019 Vide the present petition, the petitioners seek directions as under:- a) Issue appropriate writ/order/direction quashing the Notice dated 21.05.2019 issued by the respondents whereby the examination of PAPER-II "General Office procedure, Services Rules and Financial Regulations" held for panel of seniority for the post of Section Officer has been cancelled and Notice dated 13.06.2019 whereby examination for the said PAPER-II has been rescheduled to be held on 04.07.2019; and b) Direct the respondents to declare the results of the examination held for post of Section Officer pursuant to circulated dated 13.06.2018 for promotion through departmental competitive examination.

Case of the petitioner is that vide notice dated 21.05.2019 issued by

Administrative Branch-I of Jawaharlal Nehru University whereby it is informed to all the concerned employees who appeared in the departmental test for the post of Section officer {paper-II, General Office Procedure and Services Rules and Financial Regulations} which was held on 30.08.2018 for framing the panel for promotion to the post of Section Officer under Test-cum-Seniority Quota, the said test has been cancelled. It is further observed in the said order that the test mentioned above will be rescheduled and will be notified shortly. Being aggrieved, the petitioners made representation dated 28.01.2019, 30.05.2019 and 06.06.2019 by petitioner nos.1 &2, however, the said representations have not been decided. Vide notice dated 13.06.

2019 it is informed that the written test for the aforesaid PAPER-II has been scheduled to be held on 04.07.2019 from 10.00 am to 01.00 pm. It is not in dispute that the above mentioned notices has been issued with the approval of the competent authority. Since no direction at this stage can be issued to the respondents in view of the test to be conducted on 04.07.2019, however, for the simple satisfaction of the petitioner, I hereby direct the respondents to decide the representation dated 28.01.2019, 30.05.2019 and 06.06.2019 within one week from today. The decision so taken should be communicated to the petitioner in writing within three days thereafter. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
