By way of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioner who is a widow aged 70 years is aggrieved by the actions of respondent No. 2, who is her son. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner vide an application had approached the Tribunal of Maintenance of Parents & Senior Citizen, wherein an order was passed by the Tribunal on 31.12.2015. He submits that the petitioner has been recently harassed by respondent No.2 and his wife (respondent No.3). He further submits that the petitioner apprehends physical harm at their behest.

Notice is accepted by Mr. Yasir Rauf Ansari, learned ASC (Crl.) for State, who states that the Beat Officer will regularly visit the petitioner. Insofar as the petitioner's other grievance relating to water supply is concerned, she shall be at liberty to seek remedy as may be available in accordance with law.

The SHO PS Ambedkar Nagar is directed to ensure the safety of the petitioner as well as ensure regular visits by the concerned Beat Officer. 7.

The petition is disposed of in above terms along with pending application.
