The appellant Ms. Arpita B D has filed this application, seeking permission to rectify spellings of her name as Ms. Arpitha B D. Learned counsel for appellant submits that the accounts department has refused to release the amount in terms with order dated 11.02.2025 in the bank account of the appellant which spells her name as Ms. Arpitha B D. 2.

I have examined the entire record, including the previous orders reflecting flip-flops as regards the withdrawal of the appeal. 3.

More importantly, not just in the present proceedings, but even before the trial court, name of the appellant was Ms. Arpita B D and not Ms. Arpitha B D. The appellant is admittedly an educated lady who signed multiple pleadings and affidavits before the trial court as well as this court. I find no reason to allow such rectification. The application is dismissed.
