% 12.02.2016 The admitted position is that the respondent paid principal amount equivalent to Rs.8 Lakh to the petitioner.

It is also admitted that the petitioner waived interest in view of the difficulty expressed by the respondents.

There is an additional amount which the petitioner claims towards payment of tax and interest. The petitioner has quantified this amount at Rs.2,13,426/-.

The learned counsel for the respondent says that he has instructions to convey to the court that the aforementioned amount will be paid within two weeks from today.

On the undertaking given by the counsel for the respondent on behalf of his client, the petition is disposed of. The aforementioned amount will be paid to the petitioner within the time frame indicated above. CO.PET. 173/2014
