CORAM:

O R D E R
% 12.05.2016 There is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the matter has already been settled and nothing is due against the petitioner. Court notices were issued for appearance of the petitioner in the Court, however, perusal of the record shows that court notices sent to the petitioner on 11.09.2015, 30.10.2015 and 26.02.2016 were duly served on the petitioner but despite service of court notices he chose not to appear in Court and contest the writ petition, which indicates that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing or contesting the present writ petition any more. Consequently, the writ petition and the application are dismissed in default for non-prosecution.
