The petitioner has filed the present application, inter alia, seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 196/2019 under Section 420/467/468/471/120B/34 of the IPC registered with P.S. G.T.B. Enclave. 2.

Ms Dhalla, learned APP appearing for the State, states that the petitioner has joined the investigation but has not supplied original documents relating to the land in question.

It is seen that the allegation against the petitioner is regarding forgery of certain property documents. The complainant claims to be the owner of the property bearing No. 340 out of Khasra No. 1184/20, Friends Colony Industrial Area, Village Jhilmil, G.T.B. Enclave, Shahdara, Delhi-110032. The petitioner also claims ownership of the said property and has produced a separate set of documents, which the complainant claims are forged.

It also appears from the record that the complainant had filed a civil suit for evicting the petitioner herein.

In view of the nature of allegations and considering that the petitioner has joined the investigation, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present application.

The petitioner is granted anticipatory bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned SHO. This is also subject to the following further conditions: - (a) The petitioner shall not leave the National Capital Territory of Delhi without due permission from the concerned SHO;

(b) That the petitioner shall provide his contact details to the concerned SHO and be reachable at all times; (c) The petitioner shall not contact the complainant or the witnesses or try to influence them in any manner; (d) The petitioner shall forthwith deposit all original documents pertaining to the property, as available with the petitioner, with the IO against an appropriate receipt. 7.

The petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms. 8.
