After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner instead of pressing the present petition, will approach the respondents by way of a representation for restoring his seniority. He, therefore, does not press the present petition. The same is accordingly dismissed as not pressed with liberty to the petitioner to move a representation before the respondents.

It is, however, made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's claim and therefore, if the petitioner makes a representation to the respondents, the same shall be considered on its own merits by the respondents.
