The Petitioner has approached this Court seeking quashing of the Show Cause Notice dated 23.11.2022 asking the Petitioner to show cause regarding suppression of material information in the passport application dated 17.11.2022 which was applied by file No.GZ3077148916222. 2.

It is stated by the learned Counsel appearing for the Respondents that on 29.12.2023, an email has been received from the Petitioner requesting to close the file.

In view of the email sent by the Petitioner, the writ petition renders infructuous. Resultantly, the writ petition is disposed of as having become infructuous, along with pending application(s), if any. 4.

It is always open for the Petitioner to file a fresh application by giving fresh particulars for issuance of passport.
