1. Having heard learned counsel for the appellant, we find that the appellant is not in a position to deny that the legal representatives of his purported landlord Shri Narain Singh had failed in their suit preferred before the learned Trial Court wherein they had claimed that they had become owners of the suit land, which was a government land, by way of adverse possession. In the light of this position, learned counsel for the appellant, therefore, seeks to withdraw the appeal.

2. The appeal is, accordingly, dismissed as not pressed.
