Having regard to the nature of the proposed order, the requirement of issuing notice to the respondents is hereby waived. 3.
The prayer made in this writ petition is that an appropriate direction be issued to the Indian Nursing Council ensuring proper functioning of the Nurses Registration and Tracking System (NRTS) so that it is streamlined and made effective. A further prayer has been made to keep the said system upgraded in terms of the circular dated 09.05.2019. 4.

writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Indian Nursing Council to consider and decide the representation dated 28.03.2025 stated to have been preferred by the petitioner, as contained in Annexure P9 appended to this writ petition. The decision on the said representation by the competent authority of the Indian Nursing Council shall be taken by passing a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law and the rules applicable thereto. A decision under this Order shall be taken within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the Indian Nursing Council. The decision so taken shall also be communicated to the petitioner. 5.
The writ petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
