The present petition assails an order dated 11.03.2025 passed by the District Magistrate (South-West), by which, the petitioner and her husband have been directed to vacate the subject property being House No.10, Village Quzipur, New Delhi [hereinafter 'the subject property']. 2.

The petitioner is stated to have availed the statutorily prescribed appellate remedy against the aforesaid order under Rule 22(3)(4) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009 in April, 2025 and the same is pending consideration before the concerned Divisional Commissioner (Appellate Authority). 3.

During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner confines himself to seeking that the Appellate Authority be directed to consider the petitioner's request for interim relief qua the order dated 11.03.2025. appeal itself shall be rendered infructous.

During the course of hearing, it transpires that the next date of hearing before the Appellate Authority is 18.06.2025. 5.

In the circumstances, it is directed that status quo in respect of the subject property shall be maintained till the date on which the matter is listed next and taken up by the Appellate Authority. On the said date, it shall be for the Appellate Authority to consider the petitioner's request for interim order/s. It shall be for the Appellate Authority to consider whether any interim orders are warranted or not in the facts and circumstances of the present case, and pass appropriate order/s in this regard. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion as regards thereto. 6.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. Pending application also stands disposed of.
