% 05.02.2016 The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Western Regional Committee to process the petitioner's application for D.Ed. Course bearing application ID WRC APP 3161 for academic session 2016-2017. Learned counsel for the respondents raises a preliminary objection to the maintainability of the present writ petition on the ground that the petitioner is based in the State of Madhya Pradesh and the processing has to be done by the Western Regional Committee.

This Court is of the view that there is merit in the contention advanced by learned counsel for the respondents.

Consequently, the present writ petition is dismissed on the ground of territorial jurisdiction. However, the petitioner is given liberty to file appropriate proceedings in accordance with law in the appropriate forum. MANMOHAN, J FEBRUARY 05, 2016 NG
