O R D E R

None appears for the petitioner when the matter is called out. 2.

This Court notes that none had appeared for the petitioner even on the last date of hearing, though subsequently, the presence on behalf of the petitioner had been put after the matter was over. 3.

Learned counsel appearing for Delhi Development Authority ("DDA") submits that the present writ petition is now pending only with respect to prayer (d), which reads as under:

the encroachment of the Respondent No. 6 which is running its SKR Public School and Bohrianwala Thalla Memorial Society, on the ridge acquired land, on the main Inderpuri Road leading from Pusa Gate, Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARA) to Inderpuri Bridge No. 26 so that there could not be any traffic jam for the commuters and also to Respondent No. 4 to ascertain as to no further encroachment is made on the said main road;

Learned counsel appearing for the DDA hands over a copy of short affidavit, which is taken on record. The relevant portion of the said affidavit filed on behalf of the DDA, reads as under:

By referring to the aforesaid short affidavit, learned counsel appearing for the DDA submits that the land in question was handed over to Goswanmi Sati Kewalramji (Bohrianwala) Memorial Society (Regd.). She submits that as per the joint inspection report, it has been found that the society is in occupation of much more area of land than the land allotted to it.

This Court further takes note of the submission that the land in question belongs to the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board ("DUSIB").

DUSIB is not a party before this Court.

Considering the submissions made before this Court, it is directed that the DUSIB shall take requisite action for removal of encroachment over the land under its jurisdiction.

Since DUSIB is not a party, a copy of this order and the short affidavit on behalf of the DDA dated 21st February, 2025, which has been taken on record today, shall be sent to the CEO of DUSIB for requisite action.

With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition, along with the pending applications, stands disposed of.
