The present petition has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner/Claimant-M/s Safari Digital Education Initiatives Pvt. Ltd. under Section 29(A) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The Petitioner vide the present petition is seeking extension of mandate of the ld. Arbitral Tribunal.

It is stated in the petition that vide an order dated 24th August, 2022 in Arb. P. 1135/2021 an arbitrator was appointed by this Court.

Subsequently, the arbitral proceedings commenced on 11th October, 2022. of Petitioner is stated to be completed on 28th March, 2023. 5.

Ld. Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the matter is at the stage of final arguments and no one has been appearing for the Respondent even before the ld. Arbitral Tribunal. Considering this position, the mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by a further period of three months. 6.

Petition is accordingly disposed of.
