The present petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent th April, 2024 seeking police assistance for carrying that the letter dated 10 out demolition in the property of the petitioner, cannot be enforced qua the petitioner's property, i.e., bearing no. B-80, New Ashok Nagar, Khasra No. 393/264.

Perusal of the letter dated 10th April, 2024 shows that the same has been issued by the Delhi Development Authority ("DDA"), in its capacity as member of the Special Task Force ("STF"), to provide police assistance to the DDA staff for carrying out demolition program for removal of unauthorized construction/encroachment on government/DDA land at New Ashok Nagar.

This Court further notes that as per the said letter dated 10 2024, demolition action was to be taken by the DDA on 20th April, 2024.

Thus, it is seen that the aforesaid letter dated 10 its relevance as of today, as the date of 20th April, 2024, has already passed.

At this stage, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the action was sought to be taken against the petitioner on the basis of a th Show Cause Notice dated 12 April, 2024 issued by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD").

Be that as it may, if the petitioner is aggrieved by any action of demolition sought to be taken by the MCD, on the basis of the said Show Cause Notice, which the petitioner is aggrieved of, the petitioner has efficacious remedy of filing an appeal before the Appellate Tribunal, Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("ATMCD").

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the learned ATMCD to seek redressal of his grievance, within a period of 7 days from today.
