This petition has been filed for the following prayers:- i) Issue a writ in the nature of certiorari and/or any other appropriate writ of the like nature and/or directions to the Standing Committee of Respondent/CISF at CISF Headquarters may decide the correctness/antecedents of the documents produced by the Petitioners, showing their proof in support of the fact that no case/FIR is pending against them, within four weeks as no cases, whatsoever, are pending against the Petitioners herein and;

ii) Pass any such other or further order (s) in favour of the Petitioner as deemed fit in the given fact and circumstances and in the interest of justice.

Our attention has been drawn to annexure P-15 of the petition wherein, on a similar issue, this Court had disposed of two petitions on 23.04.2023 by stating in paragraph 4 as under:- "4. Noting the said submission, we dispose of the writ petitions by stating that the Standing Screening Committee shall decide the correctness / antecedents of the documents produced by the petitioners, showing their proof in support of the fact that no case / FIR is pending against them, within eight weeks from today. Based on the decision of the Standing Screening Committee, further action shall be taken in accordance with law."

For the parity of reasons, we dispose of this petition also by stating that the Standing Screening Committee shall decide the correctness of the documents produced by the petitioners/ their antecedents by considering the same within eight weeks from today as an outer limit. Based on the decision of the Standing Screening Committee, further action shall be taken in accordance with law.

The petition is disposed of.
