Learned counsel for both parties jointly submit that the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement. The Original Settlement Agreement dated 24.12.2024, which has been duly signed by both parties, has been handed over in Court today. The same is taken on record and the appeal is disposed of by directing that the parties will remain bound by the terms of this settlement agreement. Consequently, the respondent will be required to pay the amount as agreed between the parties in para 3 and 4 of the said settlement agreement.

Needless to state, the appellant will also cooperate with the respondent in filing of the joint petition for divorce as also for quashing of the pending First Information Reports registered on the basis of her The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The parties who are present in Court undertake to abide by the terms of the said settlement agreement and also state that, except for the dispute referred to in the settlement agreement, they have no other pending disputes inter se between them.

Accordingly while disposing of the present appeal, in terms of the settlement agreement, it is made clear that the impugned judgment will no longer be enforceable and the parties will now be governed by the terms of the aforesaid settlement agreement.
