The present petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. seeks the following prayers:- "a) Issue writ in the nature of mandamus or other appropriate writ/writs, order and direction against the Respondents directing Respondent Nos. 1 to 4 for police protection to ensure security and safety of Petitioners who are in eminent danger at the hands of Respondent . Nos.5 to 7; and b) Pass such other or further order/ orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case." 2.
Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State, on advance notice and on instructions from the Investigating Officer, submits that cross FIRs have been registered.
