This is a petition filed under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of time for making an award for a further period of 06 months with effect from 08.05.2025. 5.

It is stated that the delay occurred on account of numerous applications filed by the parties.

Issue notice. Mr. Gaind appears for the respondent and has no objection to the application being allowed. He states that the no objection to the extension shall in no way prejudice respondents' rights to urge all contentions on law and on facts before the learned arbitrator. 7.

For the said reasons, I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for the delay.

The mandate is extended by 06 months from 08.05.2025. 9.

All rights and contentions of the respondent, urged and to be urged before the learned Arbitrator, both on law and facts, are left open.
