The present petition under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. seeks the following prayers:

"(a) Quash the FIR NO. RC47(A)/97DLI DATED 13.06.1997,- P.S. CBI ACB NEW DELHI U/S 120-B R/W SEC. 13(l)(d) of P.C. ACT, 1988 AND SEC. 13(2) R/W SEC. 113(1)(D) OF P.C ACT 1988 & SEC. 420, 467 AND 471 OF IPC and subsequent proceedings, if any, arising out of the present FIR therefrom, in the interest of justice;

(b) Pass such other and further orders as this Hon'ble court deems fit and proper in view of the facts and circumstances mentioned hereinabove."

It is pointed out that charges were ordered to be framed by the learned Special Judge on 14.10.2023 and the formal charges have been framed vide order dated 31.10.2023.
