The present writ petition has been filed with regard to unauthorized construction raised by respondent no. 5 in the property situated at Khasra No. 431, Madanpur Khadar, Sharam Vihar, Main Kalindi Kunj Road, Abul Fazal Enclave, Road No. 13 near Foot Over Bridge, New Delhi-110044, admeasuring 200 sq. yds.

Pursuant to the directions of this Court with regard to holding a joint meeting by the Commissioner of Police and Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD"), attention of this Court has been drawn to the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Status Report dated 24th July, 2025 filed on behalf of the MCD. 3.

Learned counsel for the MCD submits that requisite action against the unauthorized construction in the property in question, has already been taken. Further, attention of this Court has also been drawn to the Minutes of the Meeting dated 08th July, 2025, released on 22nd July, 2025, to submit that the department shall ensure that after the concerned property is booked, requisite action is taken to make sure that no further unauthorized construction takes place in the said property. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is satisfied with the action taken by the department. 5.

At this stage, this Court notes the photographs attached along with the Status Report filed on behalf of the MCD, wherein, the unauthorized construction has been completely demolished.

The Court appreciates the action taken by the MCD with regard to complete removal of unauthorized construction in the present case and expects that timely action shall be taken by the MCD in other cases, as well. 7.

In view of the aforesaid, it is directed that the MCD shall ensure that no further unauthorized construction takes place in the property in question. 8.

Accordingly, this Court is of the opinion that no further orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition. 9.

The present writ petition, along with pending application, is disposed of.
