This is a petition seeking extension of mandate of the Sole Arbitrator for concluding the arbitration proceedings.

It is stated that there were applications moved before the learned Arbitrator which are time consuming and hence the delay. 6.

Issue notice. Mr. Tiwari, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. For the said reasons, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been shown for the delay.

The petition is allowed and further period of six months from 16.05.2024 is granted to the learned Sole Arbitrator to conclude the arbitration proceedings and to make and publish the award. 9.

The petition is disposed of.
