O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 391/2024 By way of the present petition filed under section 29A(4) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act 1996, the petitioners seek extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator, who is seized of its disputes with the respondent.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the learned Arbitrator was appointed vide order dated 24.11.2021 made by this O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 391/2024 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. court; whereafter, the parties granted to the learned Arbitrator a consensual extension of 06 months, as recorded in order dated 18.10.2023 recorded by the learned Arbitrator. Counsel submits that the mandate of the learned Arbitrator last expired on 08.05.2024. 3.

Counsel submits that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments, as recorded in orders dated 18.10.2023 and 28.03.2024 made by the learned Arbitrator; and are likely to be concluded soon. 4.

Issue notice.

Mr. Yoginder Handoo, learned Additional Standing Counsel appears on behalf of the respondent on advance copy; accepts notice; and does not oppose the prayer made.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed, thereby extending the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator by 06 months, with effect from 08.05.2024. Any arbitral proceedings conducted after the expiry of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator, are also validated and regularised. 7.

The petition is disposed-of.
